It’s about constantly looking at data and process equipment, working out where errors are occurring so we’re always innovating to work smarter. During your 14-month programme you’ll work closely with our amazing team on projects that are important to the future of our business. You’ll spend the first 12 weeks at the JCB Academy, learning the fundamental skills and knowledge that you’ll then use when you move into your allocated area of the business full time. As well as learning on the job, you’ll get to take part in outdoor, residential development as part of your training.
Our Lean Manufacturing Apprenticeship gives you a valuable taste of many different industries and sectors - from construction and agriculture to power generation and waste recycling and even government and defence.
You’ll be inspired and supported by team members who are always looking for ways to improve how we work. Once you’ve finished the programme, there’s a guaranteed role waiting for you along with your qualification.
We’re looking for someone with GCSEs including Maths and English at D/3 or above. You’ll need lots of ambition and energy and be ready to give it everything you’ve got every single day. You’ll be motivated, ready to learn and excited about this immersive experience and the opportunity to learn from the company’s experts in their fields.
